SAM ADAMS BOSTON’S BOY SET FOR PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL RELEASE ON JULY 13th

VIDEO FOR “DRIVING ME CRAZY” ADDED TO MTVU’S THE FRESHMEN
Upon seeing the obvious grassroots demand as Sam Adam’s digital debut, Boston’s Boy landed at the top of the iTunes Hip Hop charts last March, 1st Round Records and Fontana Distribution have announced a July 13th physical and digital release date for an extended version of Boston’s Boy. The physical album will have four new tracks including “Jets Over Boston” featuring Curren$y and a special deluxe edition will be released on iTunes with four additional songs. (Full track listing is below) Adams will celebrate his album release with a headlining show at the House of Blues in Boston on July 16th. The video for the first single, “Driving Me Crazy” has been added to MTVU and is currently sitting in the #1 spot. When the Ethan Lader directed clip originally leaked last month, it received well over 1 million views in less than a 24 hour period. Since then the numbers have steadily increased and his album sales have kept him on the charts (he’s currently #11 on the iTunes Hip-Hop charts, nearly 3 months after the initial release). “Driving Me Crazy” as sold over 200K copies to date.
Following the success of his debut, Sam Adams has been juggling his duties as a student at Trinity College, an extremely heavy touring schedule, a non-stop promotional run and trying to get into the studio whenever possible. In April, Adams headlined an almost completely sold out tour sponsored by Barstoolsports.com, which included Lupo’s in Providence (capacity 1800) and UMass (capacity 3000). He also performed at this year’s Bamboozle Festival where over 8000 fans sang along almost louder than the performer himself.
This weekend, Sam Adams will be performing at the Jam’n 94.5 Summer Jam in Boston with Drake, B.o.B, Ludacris, Trey Songs and Nicki Minaj. He will spend the Summer touring the US with dates being announced soon.
