SENSES FAIL Return to the Studio to Begin Recording Album Number Four
Los Angeles, CA – June 9, 2010 – Senses Fail has returned to producer Brian McTernan’s Salad Days studio outside Baltimore, Maryland this week to begin recording their fourth full-length album. The disc is expected to be released this fall on Vagrant Records.
“We’re very excited to be back in the studio and working on our new record which is going to be titled The Fire,” said singer Buddy Nielsen. “The direction of the music is still developing but we have about 17 solid songs and based upon which ones turn out the best in the studio, they’ll determine the overall vibe of the record. This record is a reaction and a release of a whirlwind of emotions that came from fighting for what we love and dealing with change and growth both personally and creatively.”
The Ridgewood, New Jersey-based band includes Nielsen, guitarist Garrett Zablocki, drummer Dan Trapp, bassist Jason Black and new guitarist Zack Roach. The new album follows up their 2008 release, Life is Not a Waiting Room, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart and #18 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Senses Fail won’t be locked away in the studio the entire summer – they recently announced several dates in Australia and Tasmania and they’ll be performing in Dallas, Texas on July 25 as part of Summerfest with Forever The Sickest Kids, Schwayze, Silverstein, and more.
