All Things World Cafe

Shelby Lynne brings her band to the show today including Brian Harrison who co-produced the new album Tears, Lies and Alibis with Shelby. The album has a lot to do with Shelby’s California desert home where she wrote many of the songs.

Also today more from Bettye Lavette whose new album Interpretations features her take on classic British rock. It all began with her performance at the 2008 Kennedy honors when she did this jaw-dropping performance of The Who’s "Love Reign O’er Me".

Remember Finley Quaye? We are going to play his classic "Sunday Shining".
