CITY AND COLOUR (VAGRANT) “LIVE AT THE VERGE” OUT TODAY

City and Colour’s Live At The Verge Out Today

U.S. Tour Underway

Los Angeles, CA (January 12, 2010) – CITY AND COLOUR, the solo project of Juno Award-winning, Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, releases the digital single, Live at The Verge, today. The single features City and Colour performing “Forgive Me” from Bring Me Your Love (02/08, Vagrant/Dine Alone) and a solo acoustic cover of Alexisonfire’s “Boiled Frogs.” Green also serves as Alexisonfire’s guitarist and vocalist. The tracks can be purchased together or separately and were recorded in February 2008 for Canada’s XM satellite radio show, Live at The Verge (http://www.thevergeonline.com/).

City and Colour is currently on a US tour (with most dates selling out well in advance) in support of Bring Me Your Love. Released in February 2008, it was selected by iTunes as one of the “Best Albums of 2008” and by MySpace as one of “50 Albums You Should Know in 2008.”

These rare US dates will give loyal fans the opportunity to hear a few new City and Colour songs as well as tracks from Sometimes (City and Colour’s debut album) and Bring Me Your Love which Billboard called “warm and more intimate” and Alternative Press praised for “picture-perfect imagery and a brutal honesty that throws back to a time when talent meant skills, not studio trickeries… an inspiring album.”
